August Update:
The PVNA and PVNA Neighborhood Foresters curbside basin project is moving forward with eight homes. All the households are in areas that have stormwater runoff with heavy rains. This is our pilot project to encourage our community to water harvest for beautification, shade and stormwater management. Each household has taken the Watershed Management's Water harvesting class and are participating in the cost of the project.
We plan to install the basins in November and are recruiting volunteers to help with the builds. If you're interested please contact us at info@paloverdeneighborhood.org. If you're curious, there are examples of basins on Camilla between Linden and Howard. See the image of a neighborhood curb cut basin below.

Thank you for your interest in learning more about Curbside Basins in PVNA!
PVNA, Palo Verde Neighborhood Foresters, and the City of Tucson are teaming up to help our community minimize stormwater runoff, flooding and erosion, increase shade and beautify our neighborhood. We are starting with areas most impacted by flooding along Christmas Wash.
Please provide the information requested below and we will be in contact with you on next steps by May 5th.
Note: This is only an expression of interest to know more about this project, it does not obligate you to participate in building a basin.
